- Professional Diploma in VFX & 3D

Duration: 12 Months + Internship | Basic to Advanced | Industry-Oriented | Portfolio & Showreel Based

Course Overview

The Professional Diploma in VFX & 3D is a comprehensive 1-year program designed to take students from basic fundamentals to advanced production-level skills in Visual Effects, Compositing, 3D Production, Rendering, Animation, and CG Integration.

The course begins with Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects, helping students understand design preparation, editing, post-production, tracking, rotoscoping, green screen, cleanup, and VFX compositing.

Students then progress into Foundry Nuke for professional node-based compositing, keying, roto, paint, tracking, multi-layer compositing, render passes, and advanced shot integration.

The 3D section is taught primarily using Autodesk Maya, covering modeling, UVs, materials, texturing, lighting, cameras, animation, rendering, and production workflows. Blender can be introduced as an optional tool wherever a specific project or workflow requires it.

In the advanced stages, students work on live-action + CG integration, camera matching, multipass compositing, environment enhancement, advanced VFX shots, advertising projects, cinematic shots, and final showreel production.

The program concludes with an industry-oriented internship / supervised production period, giving students practical exposure to project briefs, production deadlines, revisions, teamwork, and professional delivery standards.
